Final Round of the CSO Concerto Competition for Concordia Fellows

The final round of the Concordia Symphony Concerto Competition for Concordia Fellows will take place on Saturday, April 30th at 9:30 a.m.ÌýOur three finalists will compete for a chance to play as soloists with the orchestra in the 2022-2023 season. The winner will also receive a competition honorarium in the amount of $1,000, kindly donated by the Alberta Chinese Cultural Society.

The repertoire featuresÌýCopland’sÌýConcerto for Clarinet and String Orchestra (Amber Campbell),ÌýProkofiev’s violin concerto no.1 (Allan Nelson), andÌýVaughan-Williams’ Oboe ConcertoÌý(Stephanie Wong).

The winner will be announced on the same day. This event is free and open to the public.
