EDMONTON, Alberta 鈥 麻豆传媒 (CUE), a leader in cybersecurity education since 2005, is heading the conversation about online safety during Cybersecurity Awareness Month, an internationally recognized campaign held every October to inform the public of the importance of cybersecurity. As Canada鈥檚 only post-secondary institution with Master鈥檚 programs in Information Systems Assurance Management (MISAM) and Information Systems Security Management (MISSM), the university is offering up its experts to members of the media throughout the month for interviews. CUE also offers a Masters of Science in Information Technology degree to round out its cybersecurity offerings,

Throughout Cybersecurity Awareness Month, CUE experts will be sharing tips on social media to educate Albertans about the hidden dangers of sharing information on the internet. Students from CUE鈥檚 International Information System Security Certification Consortium (ISC2) club will also be sharing weekly tips on their . CUE鈥檚 website at concordia.ab.ca will also feature timely articles about cybersecurity throughout the month.
CUE will also be hosting a series of public events where attendees can learn how to protect themselves against cyber threats. Members of the public, including members of the media, are invited to attend.
