12.3 International Engagement Certificate
The International Engagement Certificate (IEC) program will guide students’ development of intercultural skills, knowledge and attitudes that encourage a commitment to lifelong learning and strengthen their ability to support and understand the values of a diverse world. This program includes academic learning activities, study abroad components, and international extra-curricular experience components. This program will increase the number of students participating in study abroad or other mobility opportunities while also increasing internationalization at home. It will encourage engagement between international and domestic students. This Program will allow students to complete all requirements concurrently with their program of study.
The IEC program includes academic learning, study abroad or volunteer components, along with international extra-curricular requirements. Completion of the program will allow students to develop intercultural skills, knowledge and attitudes that are required to be international leaders in a globalized world.
A. Admission
- Must be concurrently registered in a Bachelor degree program at Âé¶¹´«Ã½
- Must have earned a minimum of 18 university level credits.
B. Program Requirements
- 9 credits selected from:
- Successful completion of or
- Successful completion of
C. Graduation
Âé¶¹´«Ã½ issues the International Engagement Certificate to students who successfully complete the required course work.
