7. Political Economy
Concordia’s 3-yr Political Economy Program is a three-year undergraduate program grounded in the disciplines of Economics and Political Science. It is designed to provide students with an interdisciplinary perspective on important issues and problems facing Canada and the global community. The program features introductory and advanced political science courses in both Canadian governance and International Relations, as well as a range of Economics courses. Students complete the program by taking a senior-level capstone seminar in political economy in which interdisciplinary perspectives are brought to bear on various issues and case studies.
A. General Academic Requirements
27–33 credits required, to include:

In addition to the above, students must complete:

- 6 credits of courses in the Faculty of Science. (The department recommends 3 credits from each of two different sciences.)
