10.4.0.A Educational Objectives: Faculty of Science

The educational objectives of the Faculty of Science support the mission and values of Â鶹´«Ã½. Â鶹´«Ã½ has designed its Science programs:

1. To educate its students in both depth and breadth in one or more of the scientific disciplines.
2. To develop in its students methods of thought and inquiry that lay the foundations for continuous learning.
3. To enable students to explore and to foster connections with other fields within the liberal-arts tradition.
4. To be widely recognized for their quality.
5. To develop in students the ability to conduct scientific research.
6. To furnish its students with the basis for graduate study, professional education, and successful careers.
7. To develop graduates who are ethical leaders and contributing members of society.
