10.4.0.A Educational Objectives: Faculty of Science
The educational objectives of the Faculty of Science support the mission and values of Âé¶¹´«Ã½. Âé¶¹´«Ã½ has designed its Science programs:
- To educate its students in both depth and breadth in one or more of the scientific disciplines.
- To develop in its students methods of thought and inquiry that lay the foundations for continuous learning.
- To enable students to explore and to foster connections with other fields within the liberal-arts tradition.
- To be widely recognized for their quality.
- To develop in students the ability to conduct scientific research.
- To furnish its students with the basis for graduate study, professional education, and successful careers.
- To develop graduates who are ethical leaders and contributing members of society.
