Ghana

Partnering with the University of Ghana, College of Health Sciences, neuro-based research will be conducted through joint partnerships with North American Universities. The focus will be finding cures for tropical diseases that attack the brain and spinal cord.

Israel

Funds research in multiple areas, including biomedical sciences. It allocates funding for centres of excellence and provides research grants along specific lines of investigation, research workshops, equipment grants, and postdoctoral fellowships.

The aim of the Wolf Foundation is to promote Science and Art for the benefit of humankind.  Since 1978, the Wolf Foundation has been awarding 5-6 prizes annually in the Sciences. Prize fields comprise Agriculture, Chemistry, Mathematics, Medicine and Physics.  In the Arts, the prize rotates annually amongst Architecture, Music, Painting and Sculpture. The prize in each field consists of a certificate and a monetary award of $100,000.

Offers science, technology and innovation grants and professional development grants. Hosted and Managed by the Livestock Research Institute in Kenya.
